These teams work closely to ensure high-quality service.Supported by dedicated Technology & Operations, Finance, Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, and Human Resources teams in Australia.About IBG AustraliaIBG Australia is the primary client-facing function responsible for customer selection, credit assessment, transaction structuring, due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing customer management in line with the branchs strategies, business plans, and policies.Job PurposeSupport IBG Australia in building and maintaining DBS Australia''s customer portfolio, developing DBSs market position within the Australian banking sector.Key AccountabilitiesManagement and oversight of the assigned client portfolio within the relevant industry.Originate and lead execution of mandates across products such as Loans, Cash, Trade, Treasury & Markets, Debt Capital Markets, M&A Advisory, and Equity Capital Markets.Collaborate with product groups, industry teams, and relationship teams to identify and pursue business opportunities in Australia and regionally for outbound clients.Coach junior bankers on origination, technical, and execution skills, including preparing credit and marketing materials, and legal transactional documents.Ensure satisfactory audit ratings and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, including data integrity and KYC procedures.Financial AccountabilityResponsible for achieving financial targets such as team revenue, cross-sell, and ROE annually.ResponsibilitiesUndertake marketing activities to diversify the loan portfolio, focusing on ERI industry.Cross-sell non-loan products, primarily from Global Transactional Services and Treasury & Markets.Identify and resolve credit, compliance, and execution issues related to deal origination and management.Analyze clients and assets, including capital structure and valuation, to develop banking solutions.Prepare credit applications and conduct periodic reviews of the portfolio, ensuring timely account reviews and covenant compliance.Prepare industry reports as required.Monitor accounts actively for credit deterioration or improvement, taking timely action and escalating as needed.Coach junior bankers on origination, technical, and legal documentation skills.RequirementsAt least 7 years of institutional banking experience, with a track record in business origination, credit preparation, and sales execution.Education / Preferred QualificationsBachelors Degree with relevant banking & finance experience.Knowledge and experience in the ERI sector preferred.Skills and CapabilitiesProactive, resourceful, results-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced, challenging environment.Strong business acumen, resilience, interpersonal and communication skills, with patience and problem-solving abilities.Good credit and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial modeling. #J-18808-Ljbffr
