Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, youll ensure Deaf Connect meets current and emerging compliance obligations, while further embedding systems and practices that support sustainable, safe, and high-quality service delivery.Main responsibilities of the role include:Lead organisation-wide quality, safety and risk strategies, systems and frameworksOversee audits, incident management, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure WHS and safeguarding standards are embedded and understood across all levelsSupport legislative and funding body compliance, including NDIS and ISO 9001 standardsCollaborate with senior leaders to embed a culture of accountability, reflection, and learningAbout YouIn your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience:Leadership experience in quality, compliance, safety and risk management within community services, disability, health, or related sectors.Extensive knowledge of regulatory and accreditation frameworks, particularly NDIS Practice Standards and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.Demonstrated ability to lead organisational readiness for external audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and demonstrated ability to foster a proactive safety culture.Highly developed skills in risk management, including strategic risk identification, reporting, and mitigation planning.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage, educate and support staff at all levels.Auslan skills (or commitment to learning Auslan) are desirable.Apply today!
