Reporting to and working closely with the Area General Manager to successfully fulfil overall business, responsible for sourcing and securing new business, nurturing existing contracts and relationships.Core Requirements Of Your RoleActively sell all attributes of the property including Accommodation, Conferencing & Events and Dining facilitiesReview weekly forecasts and market share reports and actively participate in ensuring business levels and market share is maintainedManage and build strategic partnerships & memberships to drive revenue, develop new business opportunities and showcase the Stamford Hotels and Resorts brandProvide effective team leadership, management, training, motivation and developmentDevelop and execute local and national sales strategies across corporate, events, and business group sectorsDevelop and implement processes and procedures that provide accurate data and robust support for critical financial objectivesWork collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to research and analyse product, price, performance metrics of competitive sets, and drive above market performance through identification of opportunitiesConduct sales activity as required onsite, offsite with clients to drive increased sales volumes and brand awareness with an average of five documented client meetings weeklyEnsure expense spends are kept in line with budgeted figuresAbout YouThe successful candidate should have 2+ years experience as a Director of Sales or an equivalent role and hold a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Sales and Marketing or similar and must have exceptional negotiation skills to secure profitable deals and partnerships.Be a proven leader, show genuine commitment to lead from the front, develop a team that can and will provide an amazing guest experienceUnderstanding of the local and surrounding markets, highly desirableCommitment to a customer-focused approach, ensuring exceptional client experiences and maintaining strong client relationshipsA proven track record of consistently achieving mutually beneficial outcomesHave a modern understanding of digital marketing, social media, and online reputation managementCulture And BenefitsDiscounted meals and non-alcoholic beveragesSupplied meals during allocated rostered shiftsEmployee Assistance ProgramComplimentary cleaning allowanceCareer growth opportunitiesComplimentary onsite car parkingThis is a full-time placement, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work.How To ApplyIf you have the experience, we''ll give you the opportunity.Please submit a cover letter and resume.
