Join us as a Trade Centre Manager and help us improve what is already great.Your opportunityWe are seeking a Trade Centre Manager to join our Lincoln Sentry Trade Centre in Newcastle.As a Trade Centre Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of the centre, focusing on customer service, staff management, and sales.Your daily tasks will involve working closely with our dedicated team on the shop floorselling and promoting our products to meet sales targets. The role is 38 hours per week, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays finishing at 2 pm.You will use your skills to ensure a seamless customer experience, covering activities such as:ResponsibilitiesLeading a team of trade sales staff, providing ongoing training and supportManaging day-to-day trade centre and warehousing operationsTrade counter sales and customer serviceInventory control, stock management, merchandising, marketing activities, and improving customer service standardsParticipating in cycle counts and stock takesProactively supporting safety and sustainability initiativesFinancial management of the branch, including full P&L responsibilitiesWhat Youll BringThis busy role requires reliability, commitment, and attention to detail. As a proactive team leader, youll quickly adapt and maximize your teams potential.Ability to work well within a team, focusing on servicing existing business relationshipsDeveloping new business opportunitiesStrong customer service skillsWarehousing experience/knowledge is essentialGood physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20 kg occasionallyHigh numeracy skills and strong attention to detailGood computer skills; knowledge of SAP is advantageousMost importantly, you are committed to doing quality work, working collaboratively with trustworthy colleagues.
