As a future-driven group, we are committed to creating lasting value for the environment.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityThe primary purpose of this role is to establish and optimise lean processes for insurance and risk management while ensuring effective coordination and implementation of risk, compliance, and assurance frameworks within the Pact Group. Working closely with the Manager of Group Assurance and Compliance, the role involves leading the development and implementation of the organisation''s building Insurance Program. This involves overseeing insurance broking activities, facilitating the Insurance Claims Management process, and driving commercial understanding of insurance throughout the organisation. The role will assist in providing business expertise and advice on managing the organisation-wide strategic approach to building insurance, including identifying insurable risks to enable decision making in relation to insurance coverage.Your key responsibilities will be to:Set up and optimise lean processes for insurance and risk management.Work collaboratively with landlords and brokers and manage the organisation-wide strategic approach to insurance, including identifying insurable risks to enable decision making in relation to landlord insurance coverage.Support in the design, overseeing, implementation and maintenance of the PACT Group compliance management system and associated policies and procedures;Assist in the annual insurance process by ensuring the accurate and timely submission of information to insurers;Track and monitor risk management actions in relation to insurance and auditsEnsure timely escalation of compliance risks and compliance breaches to inform business decision making;Monitoring compliance management performance of business units as part of the second line of defence;Assist to prepare reports for Audit Finance and Risk Committees and Board at regular intervals on material compliance risks, breaches and the status of material compliance obligations;Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you''ll have:Previous experience in Assurance and compliance related roles, with preference for highly regulated and segmented businessesStrong proficiency in MS Excel, with intermediate to advanced skillsStrong technical expertise on insurance, insurance broking and claims management is essential.Practical experience in implementing and administering corporate or enterprise compliance and Assurance management programs.Experience in managing customer groups or stakeholders and have the ability to think strategically to identify and implement ongoing improvement initiatives.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with flexibility and agility in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsBachelor Degree in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Engineering or Risk management.Additional InformationAbout usOur vision is to lead the circular economy through packaging, reuse and recycling solutions.
