During shifts, they provide clinical leadership, supervise Registrars and Junior Medical Officers, and participate in teaching junior doctors and medical students. The role involves collaboration with other specialists, providing some out-of-hours services, including weekends. The clinical duties are shared between GV Health and SVHM EDs, with flexibility for alternatives.The Emergency FACEM contributes to strategic planning, quality improvement, and promotes GV Health as a regional health service.
