Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$65,000.00/yr - A$75,000.00/yrSix Degrees Executive have partnered with a national Fresh Produce Manufacturer to recruit a Quality Officer for their Parramatta based site. The business is a large player, supplying into the main supermarkets and various retailers.About The Role:As the Quality Officer, youll work cross-functionally to ensure that all products meet regulatory, customer, and food safety standards. Youll maintain critical documentation, coordinate verification schedules, and liaise with NPD and QA teams to ensure packaging, labelling, and supplier approvals meet compliance benchmarks. This is an office based role that would suit someone coming from a on the floor QA role.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain compliance documentation in preparation for internal and external audits.Ensure legal and customer standards (e.g., SQF, Coles, Woolworths) are met across products and processes.Manage the Approved Supplier Program including certifications, risk assessments, and audits.Coordinate the compliance verification schedule, including labels, artwork, CoO, and allergen risk (VITAL).Review and approve packaging, specifications, and raw materials in collaboration with NPD and QA teams.Review microbiological logs and COAs to assess raw material compliance.Maintain QMS documentation and present materials during audit activities.Periodically evaluate compliance controls and implement improvements.Requirements:Degree in Food Science or a related field.Hands-on experience in QA/compliance roles within food manufacturing.Strong documentation and verification skills with exposure to legal and major retail standards.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, SQF, and retailer compliance programs (e.g., Coles, Woolworths).Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across QA, NPD, and Operations.Detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about food safety and compliance.Full Australian working rights - sponosrship is not availableHow to Apply:If youre ready take your career to the next level, wed love to hear from you.Six Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
