Implementing a case management model Anglicare WAs Refuge service provides support to clients though safety planning and risk assessment, advocacy, referral to specialist services, goal setting, future planning, and personalised supports to enable them to secure safe accommodation.Join us in this brand-new traineeship role at Albany Women''s Centre! You will have the opportunity to be supervised, developed and trained whilst working towards a Community Services qualification.As a Trainee Residential Worker, you will deliver a person-centred service to clients accessing the residential refuge accommodation by providing practical support to ensure day to day needs are met, including room checks, cleaning, maintenance and auditing of supplies and linen. You will also assist with transport of clients to appointments and children to school drops offs, as required. Working alongside the passionate and dedicated Refuge team, you will participate in case management/review meetings and residential meetings to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to program standards.This is a maximum term contract until 30 June 2026, working approximately 27.5 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available to work across a rotating shift roster within the following shift times:6.30am-12.30pm, 10.30am - 4.30pm, and 2.30pm - 8.30pm.Skills and Experiences:What You Will BringYou are a passionate and talented individual who is keen to learn new skills and driven to deliver a high-quality service.You will have:Willingness to work towards a qualification in Community ServicesAbility to effectively manage workload, set priorities and work flexiblyExcellent interpersonal communicationAbility to articulate and reflect upon personal and professional valuesAbility to be innovative, flexible, work independently, demonstrate initiative and work effectively under pressureAbility to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary, teamwork setting.The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check and a WA Driver''s Licence.Benefits$72,829 - $74,916 salary range per annum + 11.5% superannuationIn addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount.Additional 3 days (pro-rata) leave per year and ability to purchase additional leaveWhy join us?At Anglicare WA we are all about people, placing people at the heart of our work.
