In this role it will beyour responsibility to ensure quality and consistency are maintained across the board. This positionoffers a great opportunity for growth and career progression all packaged within an excellentcompany culture.This is a full time, 38 hour per week role.Key duties: Creating menus, calculating food and labour costs, and arranging ingredient purchases Overseeing food quality during preparation and presentation Collaborating with managers, dietitians, kitchen and wait staff on food-related matters Demonstrating cooking methods and providing culinary guidance Preparing and cooking meals Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards Recruiting and training kitchen staff Managing the freezing and preservation of food items1.The Person:Reporting to the Head Chef and General Manager you will be able to work a rotating roster over 5days including lunch and dinner. You must be passionate about food and able to lead by example, with drive, enthusiasm andattention to detail. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to motivate anddevelop staff, and be adept at maintaining a positive team environment. You must have the ability to work under pressure.
