And we see it as a huge privilege to serve and support older people and their families across Northern New South Wales.Join us as aSocial Workerand be valued for who you are and all that you bring.For them - heres how youll contributeThe role of the Social Worker is to provide counselling, support, advocacy and consultation to residents and staff at Adventist Senior Living on social issues.The successful candidate will have the following:Diploma of Counselling or Bachelor of Social Work CourseDemonstrated previous experience in the delivery of social work servicesWorking knowledge of services available for the aged and their carersExperience in working with people with dementia and their carersDemonstrated knowledge of Guardianship Tribunal proceduresDemonstrated clinical expertise in assessment of aged people and their carersIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office SuiteNDIS CheckCurrent Drivers LicenceYou will also have demonstrated skills and experience in:Relating & networkingPersuading & influencingPresenting & communicatingCreating and Innovating (problem solving/critical thinking)Delivering results & meeting customer expectationsDemonstrated ability to be innovative in problem solving and ability to think criticallyWhat really matters here - and what makes Adventist Senior Living work - are our shared values.
