We are just a 5 minute walk to and from public transport.About the OpportunityReporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a permanent part time basis, working minimum of 20 hours a fortnight and additionally covering planned and unplanned leave. Covering a variety of shifts, this role will be predominantly working within our Food Services Team.Please note: While it will be based in the kitchen, the successful candidate may at times be asked to work within our cleaning and laundry services area.Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residentsDishwashing, clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents'' roomsDelivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residentsMonitoring of food quality, quantity and reporting of any issuesGeneral cleaning services of residents rooms and public areas around the home to a high standard, such as removal of rubbish, cleaning bench tops, mirrors, handrails, basins etc.Maintaining adequate supplies of cleaning materialsMaintaining accurate recordsTo be successful you must demonstrate the following:Basic Food Safety Practices CertificateAged Care or Hotel experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning & LaundryExcellent attention to detailSound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems and equipmentValid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)Complete a police checkFlu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinationNDIS Worker check (if applicable)A caring team environment with strong clinical and allied health supportCareer progression and development opportunitiesGenerous salary packaging and not-for-profit tax benefits claim up to $18,550 tax freeAn Employee Assistance Program for staff and familyFree annual flu shotsApply nowOur application process takes less than 10 minutes.
