Working full-time,40 hours a week, you''ll be a visible presence in the lounge; serving and welcoming guests, taking orders, supporting the team and looking for opportunities to drive revenue. In return, we''re offering a competitive salary of 29,000 p.a. and benefits which include hotel discounts, a day off for your birthday and more.The ideal candidate will haveat least two years'' experience working in front-of-house Food & Beverage operations in a hotel or high-street restaurant in a supervisory role. You''ll have a friendly demeanour, be efficient and reliable and know how to inspire your colleagues by setting a great example. In addition to directing and managing the F&B team, you''ll do Duty Management, stock ordering, payroll budgeting and rota planning. We''re a multiskilled team so you''ll also support the Reception team and other Operational areas.Our hotel is about to start a major renovation which will transform the property, including the F&B operation so this is a genuinely exciting time to join. Our hotel has over 160 bedrooms and welcomes international guests, business travellers, families, conference delegates and people heading off on holiday so it can be a bustling and vibrant hotel. As Guest Service Manager, you''ll be key to ensuring that they enjoy a great dining experience during their visit and will want to come back again soon!As you''ll be serving alcohol, we do require applicants to be 18 years of age or older.
