From tackling cyberbullying and child sexual exploitation, to confronting emerging harms brought about by new innovations such as generative AI and immersive technologies, we oversee Australias online safety landscape.We are seeking a high skilled, passionate, self-motivated Senior Research Officer to lead and deliver high-impact, mixed-methods research that informs programs, policy, and regulation to improve online safety.The position sits within eSafety''s Research and Evaluation Team which focuses on supporting, encouraging, conducting and evaluating research about online safety for Australians.We Do This Soour programs, policies and regulatory functions are evidence-informedrobust, person-centred evidence on the prevalence and impact of online harms is available to stakeholdersthe evidence base on what works to prevent and remediate online harms continues to grow.To be successful in this role you will have exceptional research skills, a proven track record of working on a range of research projects, dealing with diverse stakeholders and authoring high quality, engaging research publications. You''ll design and manage research projects, produce engaging publications, and translate findings into practical insights.
