Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the roleWe are seeking a caring and compassionate Wellbeing Assistant to join our team at Rembrandt Living in Oaklands Park, South Australia. This part-time role (4pm-9pm Monday-Friday) will see you providing support and assistance to our elderly residents, helping them to maintain their independence and wellbeing.What you''ll be doingProvide social and emotional support that promotes each residents comfort, safety, and overall wellbeingProvide companionship and engage residents in social and recreational activitiesActively participate in activities aimed at maintaining or enhancing residents quality of lifeProvide assistance to residents with eating and drinking, allowing them to do so safely, comfortably, and at their own paceMonitoring residents'' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the care teamMaintaining a safe environment by identifying and addressing health and safety hazards in resident areasAdhering to all policies, procedures and quality standardsWhat we''re looking forExperience working in a customer service roleStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationshipsCompassion, patience and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for our residentsA caring, empathetic and person-centred approach to careThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary teamProficiency in English, both written and spokenWhat we offerAt Rembrandt Living, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional development of our employees.
