Based in Mount Gambier, South Australia, this is a full-time permanent position, offering job security and long-term career opportunities.Providing support to our maintenance department, you will be responsible for project work, preventative, scheduled & unscheduled breakdown maintenance, fault finding and trouble shooting.Options of work rosters are, working a day shift 8.5-hour day (Monday to Friday 9 day fortnight) or a roster of a 12-hour rotating 4 shift (2 days/2nights/4 off) roster.Working roster options and preferences can be discussed at time of interviewResponsibilities includeWorking autonomously and within a team in either day work and/or 4 shift rosterMaintaining and improving existing systemsFault finding and problem solvingProviding technical support to production personnelContributing to the continuous improvement to safety standards and systemsFlexibility to take on a broad role to support the team and needs of the plantWhat we can offerCompetitive remuneration, terms and conditions of employment with overtime opportunities5 weeks annual leave for employees on a rotating day/night shiftInvestment in high end production technology for the future through major new plant building projectDiscounted health insurance through corporate agreement with BupaCareer development opportunities through internal training and promotionAbout youTo be considered for this position you will have:Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or higher)PLC experience (preferred, not essential)Demonstrated electrical problem solving and fault-finding experienceThe ability to read and understand engineering and electrical line drawingsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively independently or in a groupStrong focus on safetySelf-motivated and be willing to put in the effort required to complete jobs in a timely mannerAttention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramountDomestic/commercial electricians looking for entry in the industrial sector are encouraged to apply.
