Job Description:We are seeking a strategically-minded individual for a 12-month contract, with flexibility for 4 or 5-day work weeks.Our goal is to drive long-term sustainable category growth across all our customers by developing effective category and shopper strategies for the future.This role will collaborate with the Category Strategy Head to ensure the Category Vision and a comprehensive In-Store Strategy are developed and embedded across the business.What are we looking for?Degree qualified with 5+ years of FMCG experience in sales, category, marketing, and/or insights (a mix is preferred).Experience in synthesizing insights into compelling recommendations.External perspective with an understanding of the Australian retail landscape.Understanding of sales and category execution with a passion for strategy.Knowledge of basic research methods.Shopper experience is highly regarded.What will be your key responsibilities?1. Embed the Category Vision across the business as the leading framework:Identify growth opportunities.Align innovation pipeline with growth drivers.Establish a shared framework and language with retailers.Incorporate elements of the Global Category Vision.2. Create, align, and embed Physical Availability Strategies across Impulse & Sharing:Collaborate with Category Development to influence core growth initiatives.Test and learn across Aisle, Front of Store, Display globally.Develop opportunities supported by insights and aligned with retailer strategies.Update Perfect Store guidelines with Merchandising Must Haves.Lead and influence workstreams related to physical availability within growth planning processes.3.
