This role would be based at our Macquarie Park (Sydney) office.The Procurement Specialist F&B is part of a dynamic team that works seamlessly with all parts of the business and is willing to challenge the status quo, offer solutions and build better foundations for business growth.The role is responsible for managing procurement activities in concert with the Category Manager, support delivery of Category Plan, engaging with suppliers regularly, operational engagement and commercial tender support.The Position:Managed assigned projects end to end with key stakeholder management to ensure successful implementation of a projectsCompile analytical data and solutions to inform the Category Manager of the potential project saving strategiesExecute the tendering and negotiation of designated products & services in a timely manner to deliver savingsGenerally, support the development and delivery of the Food & Beverage Category PlanFoster good relationships with operational representativesMeet with supplier to discuss performance to ISSs criteria to drive service excellence and continuous improvement across the portfolioLead and coordinate the procurement effort for specific tenders, engaging Category Managers as required to supply required informationValues based positive company culture, with a caring and energetic teamFlexible work arrangement 2 days per week WFHPurposeful and rewarding work, with competitive salaryAccess to staff discounts with wide range of companiesOngoing learning and development opportunitiesInternal opportunities within our global organisationCommercial procurement experience working in a matrix organisationLeading projects or transitions with large matrix cross functional teams2 years experience using procurement methodologies to drive cost savingsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAdvanced analytical skills, strong verbal and numeric reasoningAbility to effectively dissect information and identify key issues and opportunitiesEffectively prioritises and meets deadlinesAble to deal with multiple issues, pressures and deadlines concurrentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skills and high level of customer service skillsA positive can-do attitude, continuously ambitious; creates, develops and takes ownership of the tasks set outTertiary qualification in a business related discipline.CIPS qualified or working towards completion.Procurement experience in the Facilities Management or Building Construction industryDigital procurement experience with a leading P2P platformPrevious Defence or military experience highly desirableTo apply for this role please click on the ''apply'' link and complete the online application.ISS is passionate about creating a culture that values inclusion and diversity, where all our people are treated fairly and respectfully.
