As an international supplier of critical minerals, Ilukas products are used in an array of applications including technology, construction, medical, lifestyle and industrial uses.Iluka has existing mining and processing operations at Jacinth Ambrosia (SA), Cataby, Geraldton and Capel (WA). The operation uses Ilukas remotely operated, novel underground mining (UGM) technology to extract key critical minerals for processing through a new concentrator.The Balranald project is developing a fully equipped modern camp with facilities that include a gym, pool, sports courts, recreation rooms, Wi-Fi and Foxtel.About The RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated, experienced and capable Project Manager to establish and operate Ilukas sustaining capital project team at the Balranald site.The Project Manager role will provide site based leadership for sustaining capital projects and will be critical in establishing a robust and efficient sustaining capital delivery organisation in time for the ramp-up of the operation. The role will manage a portfolio of projects and sustaining maintenance works, liaising closely with on-site operational teams and subject matter experts throughout the business to scope and execute projects.The role requires an experienced and motivated individual that can work with a high level of autonomy and has capability through the full range of sustaining capital projects from business case and scope development, through to management of engineering and construction contractors.The role is considered a leadership position within Ilukas Major and Sustaining Capital Projects organisation.
