We manage the CRN Country Regional Network, facilitating safe and efficient transport across NSW.Job PurposeYou will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment under the guidance of the HSE Manager. This position supports the implementation of the Work Health Safety Plan and Strategies, specifically for Enhancements Projects.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor the Work Health Safety Plan and Strategies.Deliver WH&S planning, solutions, and coordination, particularly for Enhancements Projects as directed by the HSE Manager.Provide support and guidance in the WH&S onsite operational environment for Enhancements Projects or as directed by the HSE Manager.Assist in response to incidents, lead or participate in investigations of WHSE events.Conduct site monitoring and review the development and implementation of all Safety Documentation for Enhancement Projects.Provide guidance on the establishment and ongoing support of the One HSE Culture program.Support the response, recovery, and Lessons Learnt from incidents.Review authorizations to ensure all UGL and sub-contractor personnel are accredited for safety requirements.Assist in the safety assessment of plant and equipment as necessary.Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.QualificationsTertiary Qualification (Diploma or greater) in Workplace Health and Safety.Cert IV Training and Assessment.Construction Industry Basic Induction (White Card) or equivalent.Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of programs.Experience in operational WHS environments.Experience in delivering safety initiatives and training.Comprehensive understanding of Risk Management principles and hierarchy of controls.Solid knowledge of Work Health & Safety Systems.About UsUGL is a respected name known for delivering end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services across sectors such as rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables, water, and defense.
