This roles focus will be on creating a seamless experience for organisations committed to becoming veteran and Defence community supporter of Soldier On. The role will use strong administration and stakeholder engagement skills not only to support income generation but also developing a high level of trust with our strategic partners, ensuring an overall positive relationship experience.Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per weekEmployment term: Fixed term, initially for one year with possibility to extendResponsibilities:Revenue Responsibility:Work with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to set financial targets for Partnerships based on the 5-year strategic plan for fundraisingMeet or exceed financial targets set for corporate PartnershipsManage the revenue and expenditure budget for PartnershipsProvide regular reports and updates to the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships on the performance of the Partnerships portfolioDevelop and execute innovative fundraising strategies to meet revenue targets and ensure the sustainability of Soldier OnManage the Partnerships portfolio to identify and cultivate relationships with business with the specific goal of increasing revenueCollaborate with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to set fundraising goals and targetsPartnership Development:Identify and engage potential strategic partners within the business sector through moves management (e.g. prospect identification, development and stewardship)Develop and sustain corporate relationships to grow revenueNegotiate and manage corporate partnership agreements and MOUs to ensure alignment with organisational objectivesCultivate, grow and maintain strong financial relationships with existing partners, serving as the primary point of contactCollaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage partnerships for maximum impactDonor Relations and Stewardship:Implement donor stewardship strategies to foster long-term relationships and enhance donor engagementEnsure timely and accurate communication with donors, including acknowledgment of gifts and progress reportsMaintain a donor database to track major donor interactions, preferences, and giving historyPlanning and Reporting:Contribute to the development of the organisations strategic plan, with a focus on fundraising and partnership objectivesPrepare regular reports on fundraising activities, outcomes, and performance metrics for internal stakeholders and the Head of Philanthropy and PartnershipsAbout youThe successful applicant will have the following demonstrable skills and experience:Minimum 4 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or stakeholder relationship managementProven track record of building relationships at a senior level within the corporate sector in revenue delivery e.g. business developmentProven track record of meeting revenue targets, building and maintaining strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholdersProven track of record managing budgetsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate the mission and impact of the organisation to a variety of audiencesHighly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyKnowledge of fundraising software and donor management systems is desiredAlignment with the work of Soldier On, working with veterans and their families will be highly regardedAPPLY NOWPlease submit a Resume and Cover Letter telling us about you, your career so far and why you would be an excellent addition to the Soldier On team using the apply now button.This position is based in Sydney however, we are also open to considering interstate candidates with the right skillset.Applications will close once a candidate has been selected, so please get in touch today!
