So, youve done the degree. You know enough to know that you dont want to be stuck drafting steel connections for the next 3 years.You want to build things. Real things. Different things.This role sits inside a growing modular construction company doing clever stuff with container-based builds, rooftop bars, portable offices, site fit-outs, even pop-up cafs. Everything is designed, engineered, and delivered in-house. Its practical, it moves fast, and nothing sits in a pipeline for years waiting to get approved.Youll sit alongside the design, production, and project teams. Youll support with structural calcs and code compliance, liaise with drafting, and get direct exposure to NCC, AS/NZS standards, QA checks, and certification. Its hands-on, but you wont be on the tools. Youll be learning the ropes of modular builds and helping keep things structurally sound and on track.Youll also be in a team that values ideas over egos. If youve got something to contribute, youll be listened to. If you dont know something, someone will show you. Theres a casual office vibe, but the work gets taken seriously.Youll suit this role if: Youve got (or are finishing) a degree in civil or structural engineering Youre curious, resourceful, and a fast learner Youre comfortable asking questions and not afraid to speak up Youre happy jumping between design chats, certification docs, and production briefingsBonus points if youve done an internship or have exposure to drafting, fit-outs, fabrication or welding, but its not a dealbreaker.Modulate is scaling.
