It supports the Division General Manager in executing the division''s business plan, ensuring good governance, effective service delivery, and fostering collaboration with members, volunteers, and external stakeholders in industry, education, government, and community. This position is based in Melbourne, Victoria.Key responsibilities include:Assist the Division General Manager in developing and implementing strategies to enhance Engineers Australia''s impact, brand, and membership.Identify and create impactful partnerships with stakeholders across industry, education, government, and community.Support and collaborate with the Professional Development team on local event activities and serve as an ambassador for Engineers Australia.Support office bearers and volunteers, including partnering with the Division President and Committee.Operate as an ambassador for Engineers Australia and lead or participate in events and functions.Stay informed about local and broader engineering issues, support the Division General Manager, and perform other duties as required.**Please refer to the supporting documents to review the full success profile on our careers page.**What were looking for:Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally, and contribute to strategy and planning.Comfort with delivering presentations, public speaking, hosting meetings and events, and influencing across teams without direct authority.Demonstrated initiative and accountability; capable of organizing, prioritizing work, and managing multiple tasks efficiently.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages with enthusiasm, energy, and authority.Interest in or willingness to develop a working knowledge of non-technical engineering matters.Experience in delivering high-quality experiences and services.Preferred experience in member or customer engagement, policy, advocacy, media, STEM, industry engagement, or corporate events.Relationship management or business development experience is highly desirable.Why work for Engineers Australia?Competitive remuneration and salary packaging recognizing your contributions.Generous leave options, including Personal Leave and Life Leave.Hybrid working model promoting work-life balance.Career development opportunities and a diverse, inclusive team culture.Application processClick Apply Now to submit your cover letter and resume by 1 June 2025.
