This role involves advising clients on a variety of high-profile projects in construction infrastructure (rail, road, aviation), real estate, power & utilities, energy & natural resources, and defence sectors across Australia.Given the complexity of these projects, the ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel and Power BI, with exposure to risk management processes. The Risk Analyst will support the team by coordinating data compilation, executing scheduling and/or risk modeling at both package and project levels, and providing scenario modeling and reports.The primary objective of this position is to support the construction infrastructure risk function. The Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing, compiling, and reporting outputs from quantitative risk modeling and schedule risk assessments. Additionally, the role involves conducting sensitivity and scenario analyses for strategic options.The position requires collaboration with risk team members and potentially other Project Management Office (PMO) functions. Responsibilities include coordinating, collating, processing, analysing data, and generating reports related to the risk function. Ensuring the quality and validation of all inputs and the accuracy of outputs is essential.Experience in schedule risk analysis is advantageous. This role provides opportunities for progression to a Risk Manager position.Build and model Quantitative Cost Risk Assessment (QCRA) and/or Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessment (QSRA) sensitivity and scenarios.Analyse QRA results to reflect variations and trends, as well as highlighting areas of concern.Produce risk dashboards, reports and PowerPoints, in a timely manner, to support the presentation of QRA results.Comply with corporate risk management standards, policies, and procedures.Exposure to risk tools such as Active Risk Manager, @Risk, Acumen Fuse, Safran, Primavera Risk Analysis or similar is preferable.Ability to model cash flows across time and calculate escalation impacts.Ad-hoc risk management technical and administrative support.QualificationsMust be degree qualified in an engineering, quantity surveyor, business, finance or construction related field with Advanced knowledge of statics and probabilistic modelling is preferable.Cost estimating experience would be advantageousHighly skilled in Microsoft ExcelCandidates would preferably be proficient with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.Exposure to risk management systems (e.g Active Risk Manager), @Risk, Acumen Fuse, Safran, Primavera Risk Analysis or similar would be advantageous.Knowledge of standard construction infrastructure risk management practices would be beneficial.Candidates are expected to have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to foster and maintain good relationships with clients.Additional InformationTurner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
