With extraordinary dining options, including Sokyo, BLACK Bar and Grill, Cucina Porto and our vibrant Sports Bar where the action is live and loud, we are dedicated to delivering the ultimate entertainment, hospitality, and dining experiences for all.The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new starters, internal transfers and contractors within The Star Sydney.This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test and deliver a thrilling new era for our Talent Acquisition team.A few of your responsibilitiesComplete all required probity checks for new hires, internal transfers, and contractorsCoordinate with relevant departments to conduct background checks and other pre-employment screeningsLiaise with new hires to collect, verify, and process onboarding documentationPrepare and issue employment contracts for new startersSchedule new hires for Welcome Day sessions, coordinating with the Learning & Development team as neededAssist the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and delivering high-potential talent aligned with business needsWhat we are looking forExperience in a Human Resources role advantageousStrong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills and accurate record-keepingAbility to work across multiple spreadsheets and systems to ensure the completion of all required probity checks for new starters, internal transfers and contractorsFamiliarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), PageUp advantageousComfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced compliance, recruitment or talent environmentsAbout youYou are a detail-oriented and proactive administrative professional with a strong track record in providing high-quality support. You excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments and remain calm and focused when faced with multiple priorities.You enjoy learning new systems and processes and understand the importance of maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
