One of these initiatives is the establishment of an inaugural RFDS General Practice Clinic in Kalgoorlie, partnered with the Kalgoorlie Campus of the Curtin Goldfields University Department of Rural Health (GUDRH). The objective of the clinic will be to provide practical experiences to support the GUDRH students and help the community of Kalgoorlie and wider Goldfields region to manage their health, including preventative healthcare and health promotion.About YouRFDS WA is looking for a General Practitioner to support the delivery of high-quality care to patients and the community, with the RFDS General Practice Clinic, opening in 2025. You will need to have prior experience working in General Practice, and hold your AHPRA Medical Registration, along with specialist qualifications of FRACGP or FACRRM.The role is a permanent Full-time position, based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Our preference is for the successful candidate to reside in Kalgoorlie; however, FIFO and permanent part-time position (0.5FTE / 19 hours per week) may be considered.About the Role- Support the delivery of and commitment to quality, patient outcome-focused care working closely with the team to develop and deliver efficient and effective care and service delivery- Provide clinical care to patients by delivering meaningful preventative care and health promotion to help patients manage their health within the community.- Provide clinical support to the General Practitioners, Primary Health Care Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Allied Health Practitioners and Students where applicable.- Create a strong sense of working as a team, promoting multi-disciplinary teamwork and clinical excellence by motivating and developing each clinician individually and as part of a team- Provide input with regard to development of clinical protocols/procedures, using evidence-based practices and ensuring they meet the standards required for accreditation- Have an interest in educating the next generation of clinicians and provide clinical training opportunities for students.- Promote and maintain collegiate relationships with the local medical and education facilities.Benefits- Total Remuneration Package up to $475,000 + relocation (pro rata based on FTE)- Salary packaging and other incentives also available in addition to the aboveHighly Competitive Annual Salary Package:Base Salary up to$340,000 AUDper annum, pro rata based on FTE,with the followingbenefits and allowances in addition:- Superannuation- 5 Weeks Annual Leave- Professional Development Allowance up to $36,797 per annum- Housing and Utilities (or allowance)- Motor Vehicle (or allowance)Access to Salary Packaging:Maximize your earnings with up to $15,900 for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 for meals and entertainment.Relocation:Weve got you covered with comprehensive relocation support, including housing, utilities, a vehicle, and help with relocation expenses, so you can settle in comfortably.Incentive Opportunities:Unlock the potential for additional rewards through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP) for those in MMM3-7 areas and explore the possibility of earning a share of billings, following review of second year of operation.Retention Bonus:12 weeks Equivalent Pay following 3 years of continuous service, and 4 weeks for every 12 months thereafterEmpowerment and Leadership:Lead with confidence in your clinical practice while helping shape a progressive rural general practice model that values innovation and your expertise.Legacy of Impact:Join a renowned organisation with a deep commitment to providing vital healthcare services across Western Australia, particularly in its most remote and underserved regions.About UsThe mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia.
