This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about regulatory compliance and corporate governance.Main responsibilities include:Report directly to the General Counsel, providing high-level legal support across the business.Advise on, develop, and deliver a proactive legal risk management program, including awareness and training programs to the company and its representatives within the dealer network.Engage proactively in regulatory activities in the finance and insurance industry and contribute to industry lobbying on legislative topics.Support regional and global legal risk management programs within the local entity.Provide legal advice and consultation.Ensure compliance with and protection of MBFSAu within all applicable laws and regulations.Identify and brief the General Counsel on potential or actual legal exposures and propose appropriate measures.Support global legal risk management programs within the local entity.QualificationsAn Australian Legal Practitioner with strong networking capabilities, strategic problem-solving skills, and clear communication in plain English.
