It supports a sustainable and successful grape and wine industry through world-class research, practical solutions, and knowledge transfer.The AWRIs commercial arm, Affinity Labs, provides advanced analytical and consulting services to the food and beverage industry. We offer a comprehensive range of testing services, including chemical and microbiological analysis, plant health diagnostics, sensory assessment, and export certification services for a wide range of global markets. Our NATA-accredited (ISO17025 and GLP) laboratories, based in Urrbrae SA, perform more than 100,000 analyses per year.The AWRI and Affinity Labs are seeking applications for the position of General Manager Commercial Operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a results-driven leader focused on driving operational efficiencies and quality outcomes for customers. As a member of the Executive Management Group, you will influence strategic and operational elements across the broader AWRI business.This role offers the opportunity to work with, develop, and build a high-performance team. You will have a significant impact by shaping the future direction of the AWRI and Affinity Labs business.Applicants should have a technical science background, business management training, and substantial commercial experience in the wine, food and beverage, or agricultural industries. A minimum of 5 years experience in a comparable leadership role is required.
