Role Purpose Our brilliant Treasury Manager is heading off on maternity leave later this year, and we know well miss her! While shes away, were looking for an exceptional Treasury Manager to join us on a remote 9-month maternity cover , starting August . Youll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our treasury function, managing cash flow, reconciliations, and stakeholder relationships. Leading a small team of three (two offshore and one in Queensland), youll play a critical role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of Send Payments treasury operations during this time. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a remote treasury team to deliver efficient and accurate treasury operations. Oversee daily cash flow management, trading account reconciliations, fund transfers, and liquidity monitoring. Drive improvements and automation across treasury workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, liquidity providers (LPs), and financial institutions. Configure and implement custom workflows for clients with non-standard treasury requirements. Collaborate with commercial teams to align liquidity management with business opportunities and risk appetite. Manage the lifecycle of trades and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Oversee data integration from APIs into dashboards, and ensure precise reconciliation of payments, trades, and beneficiaries. Manage payment and beneficiary files with LPs, including resolving exceptions and reconciling payments. Prepare clear and detailed treasury reports for senior management, including reconciliation of trading profits. Monitor and manage fund placement and collateral with LPs to ensure operational stability. Resolve queries and support tickets related to payments, funding, and reconciliations. Conduct regular checks, reconciliations, and audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations. Embrace digital treasury tools and fintech solutions to enhance operations. Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Sales, and Operations teams to support business goals. Experience & Qualifications Strong experience in Treasury Management, Reconciliations or Trade Finance Management role. Solid understanding of cash flow management, liquidity monitoring, reconciliations, and trade processing. Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team, including managing remote and hybrid teams. Experience in improving and automating treasury workflows. Excellent stakeholder management skills with banks, LPs, and financial institutions. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management. Proficiency with data integration tools, Excel dashboards, and reconciliation processes. Familiarity with digital treasury tools and fintech platforms is a plus. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
