Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2026.About The RoleWork as part of an inter-disciplinary teamProvide Social Work services to patients in the designated clinical specialty area/s using advanced Social Work clinical practice skillsSupport the Head of Department, Deputy Head and Social Work Team Leaders in providing supervision to the level P1 staff in the clinical area, including allocating clinical duties and in managing performance.Acts as a Social Work clinical consultant/resource to Social Workers and other health professionalsPlan, implement and evaluate patient safety and quality of care.Please see attached Job Description Form (JDF) for full position description and selection criteria.South Metropolitan Health Service delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
