Immediate Start: An opportunity exists for someone to join our team as a CNC Machinist in a Full Time position. Hours will be Monday to Friday dayshift.Our workshop is located in Morwell and is a family owned and operated manufacturing business, with a commitment for Quality Products Made Locally.The role will include: Program, set up, and manage CNC Milling & CNC Lathe machines Ensure machining process results align with product specifications Maintain efficient machine operation and adhere to production schedules Improve machine cycle times, procedures, and quality Implement preventative maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components to uphold functionality and reduce machine downtime Perform machine changeovers, including cutting tooling changes, material loading, bar feeder setup, and confirming/testing program details Utilise CNC software; CAD/CAM programming experience is preferableTo be successful you will need: Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (preferred) Technical knowledge or experience with setting, programming and operating CNC machines, ensuring production efficiency Ability to read and follow engineered drawings & follow work instructions Computer literacy & Exposure to quality systems Follow company policies and procedures Can manage workload in a time critical environment Have strong attention to detail and follow the quality procedures in place Personal drive to work and learn, be flexible to assist others A strong work ethic and be physically fit Good communication skills and a Team Player Be reliable and be able to work unsupervisedRemuneration negotiated depending on experience.
