You are naturally a confident person who is able to approach people and initiate conversation along with a strong knowledge of the hotel, its amenities, and the surrounding area.The Lord Byron is seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Receptionist to join our team to help effectively run the day-to-day operations of the hotel and create memorable experiences with all our guests. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, your primary responsibility is ensuring a high level of guest service at all times across the hotel.A day in the life of a Receptionist consists of:Lead by example and create a welcoming experience for guests at the hotel whilst providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service from check-in to check-out.Find common ground with our guests, build human connections, and ensure their stay is memorable by creating that WOW factor.Meet and exceed guest expectations and handle customer complaints efficiently and proactively.Coordinate daily with maintenance and housekeeping for guest movements, requests, and activities.To be successful in this role, we are searching for a person who has:Experience in a similar role is preferred.Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.Previous experience with CMS GuestCentrix PMS and Siteminder Channel Manager is highly favorable.Must have unlimited work rights in Australia.Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
