Your responsibilities will include checking and selling tickets, issuing payment notices, advising customers about their journey by communicating individually and in groups, always being aware of their individual needs.Working a variety of shift patterns almost around the clock and seven days per week flexibility is essential to this role.Average hours are 35 per week. You will face many different challenges whilst working on board the train, so you need to be able to deal with the unexpected in a calm way, but also be outgoing and confident.You will provide an excellent standard of customer service and safety at all times, ensuring that we always provide a professional position for our business and develop a strong competitive advantage.You will ensure the train environment is comfortable by fixing and reporting defective equipment, maintaining the passenger information system, and managing luggage issues.Maintaining excellent customer service, you will work with the On-Board Team to ensure that our customers have a memorable experience every time they travel with CrossCountry.
