Maternal & Child Health NursePosition DescriptionPosition Description PDF (September 2023)Mansfield Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and community-focused individual to fulfill the role of Maternal & Child Health Nurse. The primary goal of this position is to promote healthy outcomes for children and their families by providing a universal primary health service for children aged 0-6 years.As a Maternal and Child Health Nurse, you will deliver a comprehensive approach to the promotion, prevention, early detection, and intervention of physical, emotional, or social issues affecting children and their families within contemporary communities.The role reports to the Coordinator of Maternal and Child Health and includes responsibility for delivering the Enhanced Maternal and Child Health program.
