This position is key to ensuring our services remain safe, effective, and aligned with the NDIS Practice Standards and other compliance requirements.This newly created position reflects our ongoing growth and commitment to strengthening quality and compliance across the organisation.Reporting to the Manager, Quality and Practice, this role will coordinate internal audits, maintain quality and incident registers, and manage document control processes. Youll also support critical organisational systems, such as client management, medication, and incident reporting platforms, and coordinate IT assets, ensuring teams are equipped with the tools and guidance they need to deliver high-quality, consistent services.What youll be doingAs Quality and Systems Coordinator, youll work across the organisation to monitor compliance, strengthen systems, and support continuous improvement. Youll be responsible for audit scheduling, data reporting, and version control processes, as well as providing technical support and administration across key digital platforms.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating internal audits, quality checks, and follow-up actionsMaintaining registers for incidents, complaints, restrictive practices, and continuous improvementSupporting external audit preparation and compliance trackingManaging document control processes including version control, access permissions, and review schedulesAdministering core quality and reporting systems, including user access, troubleshooting, and data reportingCoordinating the delivery and tracking of IT assets, including phones, laptops, and monitors, and liaising with external providers for setup and supportSupporting analysis and reporting of quality and compliance dataProviding secretariat support to internal committees and working groupsContributing to broader quality, risk, and improvement activities as requiredWhat youll bringTo succeed in this role, youll be highly organised with strong attention to detail and confidence working with systems and processes. Youll understand the importance of audit, compliance, and structured documentation in delivering high-quality, person-centred services.Youll also bring:Proven ability to coordinate internal processes such as audits, compliance checks, or data reportingHigh-level skills in managing structured documentation, including document control and versioningConfidence using digital platforms and systems, with the ability to support others and troubleshoot issuesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder liaison and committee supportSound judgment and initiative, with a practical approach to problem-solving and follow-throughA proactive and accountable mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and service qualityExperience in the disability sector and knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards (desirable)Youll also need to hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations, evidence of Australian work rights, and an NT Drivers Licence.Please refer to the position description for a full list of essential and desirable criteria.Why work with usWe offer a supportive and purpose-driven work environment where your skills will help strengthen systems and safeguard quality across Somervilles services.
