This position is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of engaging education and public programs that connect diverse audiences with our exhibitions, collections, and creative spaces. If youre passionate about arts engagement and enjoy delivering meaningful experiences to the public, this is your opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and inspiring environment.About YouMinimum 5 years experience in arts education, gallery education programming, and/or the development and delivery of arts and cultural programsDemonstrated ability to develop productive relationships with multiple stakeholders including educators, students, community groups, and artists to create and deliver joint programs and activitiesSelf-management and organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and manage time effectivelyExcellent skills in research and writing, planning, organisational and communicationAbility to work flexible hours appropriate for the operation of the venueProvision of a satisfactory Criminal History Check Police Certificate (Australia wide name only) and Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.Open C Class Driver License.A genuine interest in and passion for the arts.Tertiary level qualifications in relevant field desired.Detailed knowledge of Australian Curriculum, in particular the creative / visual arts desired.Sound knowledge of Councils functions and procedures and/or Local Government experience desired.To view the Position Description for this role, please clickhere.The Selection ProcessWe encourage candidates to advise us of any accommodations they may need to ensure a smooth and inclusive experience throughout our recruitment process and work environment.
