With a strong national presence and a highly valued customer base, we pride ourselves on delivering expert technical support and tailored solutions to major industry operations.Our head office is based in Melbourne, VIC, but this role offers the flexibility of remote work based in your Queensland home office with full support, training, and regular collaboration.The OpportunityDue to continued business success and a growing portfolio of key accounts, we are seeking a Sales Engineer with a technical background to join our team. This is a dynamic and varied role involving direct customer engagement, solution development, and strategic account management across multiple industry sectors including mining, quarrying, shipping, and grain.Youll be responsible for managing existing relationships and developing new business, while also providing on-site technical solutions at a concept, design, and operational level. Regular travel within Queensland is required.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage relationships with engineers, site supervisors, and procurement managersDeliver technical advice and troubleshoot issues related to conveyorSupport end-user customers across bulk materials handling industriesGenerate quotes, cost estimates, and process sales inquiriesAttend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events as a company representativeProvide occasional administrative support in line with sales functionsYour BackgroundThis role suits a confident and mechanically minded sales professional, engineer, or experienced trade specialist.You may have:A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a trade qualification with at least 5 years relevant experienceProven success in technical sales, preferably in engineering, mining, or bulk materials handling industriesExperience communicating with engineers and working with complex mechanical systemsA self-motivated, strategic mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyA home office set up and a willingness to travel within QueenslandStrong interpersonal skills and commitment to OH&S standardsExperience or contacts within the industry mining site etc. (highly advantageous)Whats in it for You?Competitive base salary (negotiable based on experience) + superIncentive structure + fully maintained company vehicle + phone + laptopAll travel and business expenses coveredFull product and systems trainingA supportive and results-driven team cultureReal opportunities for personal and career growthThis is more than just a sales role it''s a chance to become a trusted technical partner to some of Australias most important industrial players.
