As an Senior Application Engineer, you will serve a vital role in the Solution Engineering organization as a Bentley Electric Utilities product specialist who prepares the necessary content and datasets, delivers presentations to users and potential users to showcase product capabilities, understand their requirements and articulate this knowledge to the rest of the organization.By developing a unique relationship and understanding of both the Bentley electric utilities products and solutions as well as the user needs, the Application Engineer plays a key role in our ability to use that knowledge in Account Advancement, User Advancement, and Product Advancement.We Will Rely On You For The FollowingServe as the technical liaison between Account Advancement and User Success teams.Create effective presentations and demonstrations that illustrate the capabilities, workflows, and value of Bentley Energy Utilities applications to users.Develop and prepare datasets for user presentations and demonstrations.Engage directly with users to conduct discovery sessions and define requirements.Develop content (i.e., videos) that can be delivered in one-to-one or one-to-many modes.Deliver presentations and provide support for corporate sales and marketing events.Contribute to written proposal development and submission.Prepare and recommend scope of services for User Success to implement.Provide timely feedback on user interactions to improve sales and marketing efforts.Prepare and deliver relevant feedback to Product Teams to improve our products (from product issues to user needs).Work with Product teams to stay up to date with current releases of Bentley applications.Contribute to the Bentley Communities by posting application tips and/or answering user questions.Understand Energy Utilities industry design standards as well as methodologies and make recommendations for conformant product configurations.Stay updated on Energy Utilities industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.What You Bring To The TeamStrong functional knowledge using relevant Electric Utilities design software such as OpenUtilities, PLS-CADD, MicroStation or other related (Electric Utilities) engineering applications.Expertise in T&D Industry (design or operations)Experience with Asset Information Management solutions is beneficialExcellent speaking, presentation, and demonstration skills.Ability to explain complex topics to audiences of all levels of knowledge and seniority.Independent judgment, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new complex products.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Effectively collaborate with teams leveraging communication and project management to define objectives and deliver focus.What We OfferA great Team and culture please see our Recruitment VideoAn exciting career as an integral part of a world-leading software company providing solutions for architecture, engineering, and construction.Competitive Salary and benefitsThe opportunity to work within a global and diverse international team.A supportive and collaborative environmentAbout Bentley SystemsBentley Systems (Nasdaq: BSY) is the infrastructure engineering software company.
