Tasmea''s newest subsidiary business - a civil contracting company servicing the mining & resources sector with various ongoing projects running nationwide, is on the hunt for an experienced Project Engineer.As Project Engineer you will be responsible for the planning and construction management and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role involves ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, clients, and contractors to support project success and business growth.Main Responsibilities:Develop detailed project plans and specifications for civil worksConduct feasibility assessments and site inspectionsManage project technical aspects from initial concept through to completionSupport Project Managers with technical advice, scoping, and project executionPrepare and review technical reports, designs, and drawingsEnsure compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, and quality standardsMonitor and report project progress against key milestones and budgetsAssist with risk management processes, identifying and mitigating project risksMaintain clear, professional communication with clients regarding technical aspects of projectsWhile your project is based in Rockhampton, head office is based in Perth - interstate travel will be required.Key Responsibilities:Minimum of 3 years experience in civil construction or engineering roles with experience in mining and resources projects highly regardedWhite Card (Construction Induction Training)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or similar design softwarePractical experience managing civil projects in the mining, resources, or infrastructure sectorsAbility to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teamsHow do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
