Position: Casual Sales Assistant - Maribyrnong We are seeking an extremely friendly Sales Assistant to work on a casual basis in our Maribyrnong store. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience. Assist with merchandising and stock management. Handle heavy items such as bags of pet food, requiring physical effort. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals. Maintain store cleanliness and organization. Candidate Requirements: Strong customer service focus with the ability to impress customers. Motivated, proactive, and reliable. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Composure under stress and pressure. At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume retail environment. Strong merchandising skills. Commitment to pet care and knowledge is a plus. Flexible regarding working days and hours, willing to work unsupervised.
