The successful applicant will be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students within a culture of excellence and the Catholic faith.Selection CriteriaA clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.Ability to teach English to Year 7 to 10 students.Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.Excellent planning and use of digital technologies, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students in a modern learning environment.Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students and parents.Strong written and oral communication skills.Understanding of the principles of Child Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Industrial Democracy and Occupational Health and Safety.Current Working with Children Card.For further information please visit the College website: applying for this position you will be providing personal information to the School.
