A partnership between local and state government, and the tourism industry, Tourism Midwest Victorias focus is to support visitation to the City of Ballarat, and the shires of Pyrenees, Moorabool, Golden Plains (south of Ballarat to Rokewood) and Hepburn (Creswick and Clunes).Tourism Midwest Victoria will support its industry partners through business initiatives, creation of visitor economy experiences and tourism products, and marketing and industry development.The Tourism Midwest Victoria Regional Executive Support Officer provides a range of executive, secretarial and administrative duties to support the chairperson, board, and leadership team to achieve visitor economy partnership objectives. You will prepare, coordinate and review high level communication including submissions, briefing notes and correspondence to issues and enquiries. You will also assist in the day-to-day budgeting, record keeping and administration tasks.About YouYou will have excellent communication skills, experience working and providing executive support within a board setting. You will be able to effectively set priorities and meeting deadlines, along with assisting with the day-to-day budgeting and administration tasks relevant to the function of Tourism Midwest Victoria.The Ideal Candidate Will HaveRecent experience in providing executive support within a board setting including administration, internal communications, action management, and report development.Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in developing presentations, submissions, board papers, reports, correspondence and briefing notes to a high standard.Developed organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, in a collaborative team environment.Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and collaborative decision making to achieve deadlines.Demonstrated ability to use various technology platforms, programs, software applications and ability to pick up new skills.High level of professionalism, discretion and diplomacy to effectively deal with sensitive and difficult issues.Demonstrated ability to assist in the day-to-day budgeting, record keeping and administration tasks including adhering to financial procedures.Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently.To ApplyTo apply for this position please click on the apply button and submit your application.
