Governing Board members hold positions of significant strategic leadership and responsibility in the health system, providing an opportunity for experienced leaders to engage with and guide Local Health Network decision-making.The membership composition, outlined in the Health Care Act 2008, includes a mix of individuals with experience across different areas. Candidates with expertise in the following are encouraged to apply:Health managementClinical governanceCommercial managementFinancial managementThe practice of LawThe provision of health servicesOther relevant knowledge, experience, and expertiseApplicants should demonstrate at least ten years of experience in their field and/or have completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
