This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. We will count on you to: Deliver strategic risk advisory services across Marsh Pacific and its related insurance entities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Provide expert risk advisory services on governance, risk management practices, and compliance obligations for insurance entities. Lead comprehensive risk assessments, identifying key risks and recommending effective mitigation strategies. Monitor and analyse emerging risks, providing timely insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance risk management practices and support business units in their risk management efforts. What you need to have: University-level qualifications in finance, law, business management, economics, or equivalent. Experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal areas, particularly within the insurance sector in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom. Strong understanding of risk management systems, compliance frameworks, and local regulatory environments (e.g., APRA, ASIC). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and boards. What makes you stand out: Experience in general insurance, insurance brokering, or insurance regulation. Ability to provide strategic advice on risk culture and compliance matters. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation and actionable insights. Proven ability to manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
