The successful candidate will have:Passion for animal behaviour and trainingPositive reinforcement-based training experience or qualifications (highly regarded)Commitment to pet carePublic speaking and presentation skillsHigh integrity, motivation, and proactivityAbility to stay composed under stressEffective communication skills with clients of all pet experience levelsRetail experience in high-volume, disciplined environments (preferred)Strong customer service orientationAbility to work within a teamAnimal studies qualifications (highly regarded)Willingness to learn and improve in science-based animal trainingYour primary role will involve delivering dog training classes and one-on-one training. Initial onboarding includes retail training, store procedures, and in-depth Pet School classes and operations. You must be reliable, flexible with working days and hours, and capable of working independently. You should be physically fit to handle dogs of all sizes and capable of lifting up to 20kg.
