Experience in picking and packing of product to customer orders is advantageous. We are a close knit team in Darwin; effective communication skills and teamwork are a must.This is a highly physical job in a fast paced environment, we are looking for someone energetic, engaged and ready to build a career with Lactalis.Are you enthusistic? Are you reliable? Your commitment to our brand and customers is a must.This is a shift based role (you may be required to rotate from time to time) and some paid overtime may be required. Are ou flexible with your time?Duties IncludeManually picking of orders correctly, palletising and labelling to customer.Moving stock from the production line to warehouse.Load and unload trucks as required observing all the necessary safety requirements.Ensure vehicles are loaded in a timely fashion meeting time slots and as per the production requirements and the work flow.Follow housekeeping and hygiene processes and procedures.Ensure stock is correctly received, stored, recorded and issued in saleable condition.Responsible for the safe operation of forklift.Ensure all customer orders and receipts are accompanied by correct paperwork.Report any problems which may occur and could disrupt the smooth running of the operation.Assist in the training of new staff and/or functions as required.All other duties pertaining to scope and objective of role.you need to be Quality & Safety focusedTo be considered for this position the following will be advantageous:A current Forklift licence.Current and/or previous Warehouse Operator experience.Computer literacy including experience using Microsoft Office and computer based maintenance systems.The successful candidate will be flexible to work changing work hours and overtime from time to time as required by the business which may include shift work. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to being part of a high performing team is essential.
