Undertake maintenance and repair work to the school buildings and grounds to ensure it is a safe environment for the school community.Click here to view the Position Profile.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure building systems and machines run smoothly e.g. air conditioning, pumpsUndertake repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings e.g. replacing locks, windows & light bulbs, patching holes, woodwork repairsPerform routine maintenance of equipmentEstimate repair costs and document repairs undertakenHandle, store, and distribute goods/materialsMove equipment/furniture as requiredUpkeep school grounds e.g. mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, disposing of litterAssist with school improvements e.g. fencing, paving, & gardening projectsComplete daily grounds maintenance reportsTrain new employees in groundskeeping dutiesDrive school vehicles as required.About The SchoolAspect Western Sydney School provides placement for approximately 160 students on the autism spectrum from Kindergarten to year 12.
