This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight. Location is Sydney, NSW. You have the availability to work one late night per week and one in three weekends (both Saturday and Sunday). The final candidate will be required to complete a National Police Check.As Communication & Interior Design Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead, coach and develop a high performing team that actively contributes to the unit goals, whilst securing succession. Play a pivotal role as part of the Senior Store Management team and act as a commercial business partner to proactively contribute to the local and national business plan and growth plan. Create and secure the visual identity of the store and play an active role as the creative director to inspire our customers and co-workers through home furnishing. Secure and champion inspiring range presentation solutions, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distance IKEA from the competition. Lead and secure the implementation of local and global solutions within the store in collaboration with your team. Build and deliver the IKEA retail foundation whilst contributing to establishing and strengthening test and try. Support the store operationally and be responsible for Duty Manager shifts in store where required.As Communication & Interior Design Manager you are: Experienced and have sound knowledge of Interior Design, Visual Merchandising and Graphic Design. An experienced senior leader with ability to lead and develop successful high performing teams.
