Our brands rely on this seamless integration to serve over 21 million customers at over 2,500 outlets around Australia every day.About the role:As a Technical Lead in this team, you will support and enable as necessary the design, planning, implementation and release of relevant engineering enablement capabilities across the projects, programs, and agile squads.The Technical Lead candidate will be an all-rounder; able to adapt to a fast-paced, lean and agile working environment.Key responsibilities include:Be responsible for leading a small group of indirect team members in the Integration Center for Enablement development space; providing specialist skills, knowledge and advice on Coles Integration Platforms and supporting software.Support the transformation to a managed service, cloud service, and cloud application-based development landscape.Contribute to and Lead the strategic direction of the development landscape, and be well-across the several Integration Projects and Programs.Be responsible for, and be a key Subject Matter Expert on the Integration Platforms (Azure, IBM EAI, Databricks, Data Hubs, IBM MQ etc.).Develop, negotiate, and communicate the Integration Platform Strategy and Roadmap.Responsible for the delivery aspects of the Coles Integration Platforms, Engineered components and Services.About you and your skills:Extensive commercial experience in the software engineering and testing fields.Experience in leading teams or directing work, as a Technical Lead or Delivery Lead across technology platforms (such as Integration, Mobility etc.) in an agile environment, with experience delivering large programs of work, including operation support.Demonstrated experience with a variety of licenced and open-source technologies, frameworks, scripting languages (e.g. NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, .Net Core, Python, Kafka, Data Bricks, etc).Demonstrated experience managing engineering outcomes, both in terms of process and tools (e.g., Microfocus ALM, Jira, Microsoft Test Manager, etc).Demonstrated experience with testing aspects of DevOps including IaC for continuous testing purposes using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Terraform or AzureDevOps, Azure Dev Analytics, Docker, GIT.Demonstrated experience with creating Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) test automation frameworks compatible with diverse technology stacks.Solid understanding of engineering principles, products, and services in a hybrid cloud environment, with a technical background.Proven capabilities in vendor, partner and stakeholder relationship management including the negotiation and management of outsource agreements and delivery to agreed service levels.Demonstrated success in enabling the launch of high quality and business critical products, in a complex enterprise production environment.Whats in it for you?Flexible working options: We know that work is only one part of your life, so we actively encourage a positive work-life balance and provide hybrid working options to help you achieve it.Office perks: Take advantage of our gym facility and fitness classes, free parking, BBQ area, mini-Coles supermarket, fooderie hub where you can sample new products before they hit the shelves, school holiday program and so much more when you come in.Discounts: Eligible team members receive 5% discount all year round on your Supermarket and Liquor online and in-store purchases.
