Coolmore Australia - Yard Hand/Feed Shed Co-ordinatorThe Property & Employer:Coolmore Australia is a world class thoroughbred breeding operation situated in the Hunter Valley with the property covering 10,000 acres. Its scale and quality are rarely beaten in this region. We are located just over one hour to Newcastle City Centre and the beach, and as well as the major towns of Singleton and Muswellbrook under 30 minutes drive for all necessities.We are looking for a Permanent Full-time Yard Hand/Feed Shed Co-ordinator to join our team. With a remuneration package to be negotiated based on experience. Permanent part-time work is also an option with a minimum of 30 hours per week required.If you apply yourself to this role and do a good job, you will have full autonomy of how you co-ordinate your day. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and enthusiastic to deliver a good outcome for the team, it will be what you make it. We also have a large farming team with operations including cattle, hay and cropping as well as a range of tradespeople, and can offer time in these areas as reward for a job well done.Daily Tasks:The day-to-day tasks the successful candidate will be involved in include:Mixing feed and ensure adequate levels maintained across the farm, and ensure stock is kept at an optimum level.Managing hay sheds to allow horse staff to always have safe access to hay.Unloading deliveries to the farm and work with the store person to direct to the right area.Assist with the farm team when available, including tradespersons, farmers and gardeners.Keep areas tidy and provide a presentable workplace environment.To be successful in this role you will need to have or be willing to obtain a forklift licence as well as a class C Drivers Licence.
