In this role you will support HNC to continue to play an important role in providing leadership and strategic action through good preparation to support the health and wellbeing of its communities.The Senior Manager, Disaster Response and Readiness manages the implementation of HNCs disaster preparedness activity to support resilience and readiness for North Coast communities across 12 local government areas from Tweed Heads to Port Macquarie.About youYou will have:leadership and operational experience in the development and delivery of disaster or emergency planning functions, including preparedness, response and recoveryproven ability to build productive networks and alliances at all levels of government, non-government organisations and communities to achieve shared outcomesknowledge of primary healthcare, the Australian health and social services system, the north coast and the state and national policy environment. Or transferable skills from other sectorsproject management experience including leading the development and delivery of strategic and operational implementation activity with internal and external dependencies and riskadvanced written communication and facilitation or training skillsability to work in high pressure environments with authorityrelevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience, 8+ years in emergency and disaster management or other relevant discipline.How to ApplyPlease forward your resume and cover letter (max 3 page) demonstrating how you meet the key criteria listed above to jobs@hnc.org.au .
